Abstract
Describes the rules and process used to submit standardized scales or surveys to LOINC, including the role and responsibilities of the scale developer or designated clinical expert, the copyright owner (if not the developer), LOINC staff, the Encoding-Modeling WG members, and the Knowledge Modeling WG members. The LOINC-created submission spreadsheet template is a companion document--the Encoding-Modeling WG has added some tips on how to use the spreadsheet.
